Dr. Nathan S. Bryan has been involved in nitric oxide research for decades and his discoveries and product innovations have established him as an international leader. Nitric oxide is considered one of the most important molecules produced in the human body. It is a cell-signaling molecule responsible for many fundamental biological processes and is essential for healthy cell function. The role of nitric oxide in the aging process is well documented and in fact, nitric oxide is known as the “anti-aging” molecule. Despite the fact that there are over 160,000 published studies on nitric oxide and a Nobel Prize in Medicine awarded for its discovery, there have been no hallmark product breakthroughs in the beauty and cosmetic industry that harness the power of this amazing molecule. Your body produces nitric oxide naturally however, starting in your 20’s and continuing for the rest of your life, there is an age-related loss that lends to the aging process. Loss of nitric oxide production can counter the appearance of youthful skin. This led to the development of the first nitric oxide activating serum with a dual-chamber delivery system. When the contents of the chambers are mixed together, nitric oxide anti-aging molecules are immediately generated. When the serum is applied to the skin, nitric oxide anti-aging molecules penetrate the skin to replace the age-related loss of nitric oxide leading to the reduction of wrinkles, better complexion, clarity, and texture of the skin. Founder and CEO
Dr. Bryan has been a pioneering figure in the field of nitric oxide research for nearly 20 years. In addition to creating Pneuma Nitric Oxide, he is the holder of more than a dozen issued U.S. and International patents for breakthrough techniques that have revolutionized human physiology and disease management. Dr. Bryan is an internationally recognized authority in molecular medicine and nitric oxide biochemistry, having authored five books and numerous, highly cited research papers. After earning his B.S. in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and his doctoral degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine, Dr. Bryan received his post-doctoral training at Boston University School of Medicine in the Whitaker Cardiovascular Institute. In 2006, he was recruited to join the faculty at the University of Texas Health Science Center by Dr. Ferid Murad, a Nobel Prize winner for his work with nitric oxide.

Susan Shaffer is Co-founder and President of Pneuma Nitric Oxide LLC. Ms. Shaffer brings over 30 years of corporate experience and a vast network of industry associations. She delivered her unique brand of strategic business acumen, relationship and management skills to such high-profile companies as Lancome, Dell, 3COMM, and HumanN. A colleague of Dr. Nathan Bryan Ph.D. in a company dedicated to the use of Nitric Oxide in dietary supplementation, Ms. Shaffer was a natural to lead Pneuma Nitric Oxide LLC. “I am extremely passionate about fostering the unrealized potential of this miracle molecule and committed to advancing its development."
